Piczzle Online Photobooth is a digital photobooth service operated by Piczzle Photobooth. We provide an online photobooth experience for private events such as weddings, birthday parties, and corporate gatherings.

What Data We Collect

When you use Piczzle Online Photobooth as a guest at an event, we may collect:

• Photos — captured during your photobooth session
• Guest name — if you choose to enter it (always optional)
• Guestbook message — the message you leave for the event host
• Event code — used to identify which event you attended
• Device information — basic technical data such as browser type, used for service stability

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information from guests.

How We Use Your Data

Specifically, we use collected data to:

• Build and deliver the digital guestbook to the event host
• Allow you to download your photo strip
• Maintain service performance and troubleshoot issues
• Comply with legal obligations where required

We do not use your photos or messages for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the guestbook service.

Sharing With Event Hosts

By participating in a Piczzle Photobooth session at an event, you acknowledge that:

• Your captured photos, guest name (if provided), and guestbook message will be shared with the event host as part of the digital guestbook
• The event host is responsible for how they use and store this content after receiving it
• We are not responsible for the event host's use of this content once delivered

Payments

Event hosts who purchase a Piczzle package pay via Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions and can be found at stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Data Storage & Retention

Photos and guestbook content are stored securely using Google Firebase (Firebase Storage and Firestore), hosted within Google Cloud infrastructure.

We retain guest data for the duration of the event package plus a reasonable period for the host to access their guestbook. After this period, data may be deleted. Event hosts may request early deletion by contacting us.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to certain uses of your data

Cookies

Piczzle Photobooth does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use essential browser storage (localStorage) to remember your app URL preferences in the admin panel only.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
